What we do

A house that delivers little, and takes its time.

A piece goes to the workshop after you order, and is finished for the person who chose it. It is slower than taking a coat off a rail: it is the only way to get a cut that falls right on your shoulders and not on those of a standard size.

Our clients live between Riyadh, Doha, Casablanca and Europe. They buy a fur for two climates: dry January nights at home, and damp winters when they travel. That changes everything — the weight of the skins, the lining, the length.

The House

Paris

Paris is a way of doing things before it is a city. A measure: clean lines, a correct drape, materials you recognise without reading the label. That is where our pieces start, and that is what they carry with them. You do not need to be in Paris to wear Paris.

FURSULTANA is a SARL registered on 3 December 2021, RCS Nanterre 908 301 112. The house came out of a simple observation: fur had become either a museum object or a seasonal accessory. Between the two, there was almost no one left.

The material first

We took up the trade again through the pelt. Few models, worked on for a long time, with the furrier's vocabulary and gestures. No quarterly collections, no sales that devalue the work. The trade itself has not changed.

We describe the material as it is. Real fur is stated as such, with its regulatory wording. Faux fur too. We do not play with words, because the customer always ends up knowing.

The FURSULTANA woman

She does not buy a fur each season. She buys one, for an evening, a reception, a departure, and wears it until it becomes hers. She puts it over a long dress at night and over jeans the next day.

She lives between two winters: the dry January nights in Riyadh or Doha, and the weeks in Europe where the cold is damp. A piece has to hold up in both. She knows what she paid and why.

Before we cut

We answer before we start.

Length, collar, lining, shoulder width: you write what you are looking for, we answer, and only then does the cutting start. If your build needs an adjustment the model does not allow for, we say so rather than deliver a piece that will hang badly.

In use

Twenty winters, and the right to be altered.

A well-cut fur runs through twenty winters. It can be taken in, recut, shortened, moved to other shoulders. A daughter does not have her mother's line: that is the only thing that shifts, and it is exactly what the workshop puts right.
