Frequently asked questions
1. Are your furs real?
Yes, with two exceptions, flagged as such. The two Naya coats are faux fur: their product page says so in plain words, at the top of the description. All the other pieces are real fur — mink, fox, Rex rabbit, lamb, raccoon, chinchilla-dyed rabbit — and carry the regulatory wording “Contains non-textile parts of animal origin.”
2. How do I look after a fur?
Shake it out when you come in, brush in the direction of the hair with a soft brush, hang it on a wide wooden hanger with air around it. Do not spray anything on it. If it gets rained on, let it dry flat, at room temperature, away from a radiator, never with a hairdryer. Professional cleaning every one to two years is enough. The Care & passing on page sets out each step.
3. How do I choose my size?
Our pieces run true to size. Take your usual size for a close fit, one size up to layer knitwear underneath or for a fuller line. If in doubt, write to us before ordering: we will reply with the exact measurements of the model you are interested in.
4. Do you ship outside the European Union? Who pays customs duties?
We ship worldwide, in ten to thirteen business days. Outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes are payable by the recipient on delivery, under local rules. They are on top of the price shown.
5. Can I return an order?
Yes. You have fourteen days after delivery to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason. Write to fursultvnvsav@gmail.com with your order number: we will reply with what to do. The piece must come back unworn, with tags in place, in its original packaging. Personalised or made-to-measure orders cannot be returned.
6. What payment methods do you accept?
Prices are shown in euros, VAT included for the European Union. Payment is handled by our provider: we never have access to your bank details.
7. Do you repair a damaged piece?
Yes. Lining replaced, collar reset, sleeve ends re-cut and re-edged, seams redone on the fur machine. We also rework pieces whose line has dated: a coat that is too long becomes a jacket, a vest or a collar. Send us photos before giving up on a piece.
8. Where do your pelts come from?
Each product page states the exact material, and every real fur carries the wording required by Regulation (EU) 1007/2011. We will only publish detailed origin once it is verifiable end to end.
9. What is the difference between mink, fox and Rex rabbit?
Mink is the densest and the most hard-wearing: short hair, a silk hand, twenty to thirty years of wear. Fox gives volume: long guard hair, movement, immediate presence at the collar. Rex rabbit is a short velvet, very supple and lighter, but it marks at friction points. The fur guide compares the seven materials in the catalogue, faux fur included.
10. Where should I store my fur in summer?
In a cotton cover, never plastic: the leather has to breathe. Somewhere dark and dry, between 10 and 15 degrees if possible, with air around the piece. Avoid direct light, which lightens dyes, and any heat source.
11. Can I order made to measure?
Several models come in different colours and lengths, and some pieces can be personalised. Write to fursultvnv@gmail.com describing what you are looking for: material, length, collar, lining. A personalised order cannot be returned.
12. How do I reach you?
For a product question, an order in progress or a made-to-measure request: fursultvnv@gmail.com. For a return, an exchange or after-sales service: fursultvnvsav@gmail.com. Include your order number, it saves us one round trip.
